Wow! Where does the time go?

Here we are half way through our first quarter. We are doing so many fun and exciting things in our classroom. In Math, we are understanding how the placement of a decimal determines the value of a number. In language arts, we are gaining a greater understanding of how characters in literature change over time and we are almost ready to begin our memoirs. One of the most exciting things we are doing is working on a Social Studies project where we intergrate three subjects; Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies, as we collaborate in groups to create a business plan. Our young men and women are doing an awesome job of demonstrating thier understanding of of Market Economies. We are off and rolling as we prepare for middle school and beyond.
